2026 constitutional amendment: DeSantis has made it a long-term goal to eliminate property taxes for homesteaded properties and is pushing for a constitutional amendment to be placed on the November 2026 ballot. This would require approval by 60% of voters to pass.
If he's successful, I predict you'll see a mass exodus out of high tax states!
FL also doesn't have an Income Tax!
